Kanigawa no Nichogama Sho (or 鐘川の二丁鎌小 in Japanese) is a Ryukyu Kobujutsu Kama Kata. This Kata is named after Gimu Kanigawa (or 鐘川 in Japanese, sometimes also transcribed as ‘Kanegawa’), a renowned expert in Kama-Jutsu. To indicate that this kata is performed with two kama simultaneously, its offical name in Japanese (that is, ni-chō-gama) states 二 (ni, meaning ‘two’) 丁 (chō, a counter) 鎌 (gama or kama, that is, an oriental sickle). In the video embedded below (recorded on 28 March 2025), budoka Johan Oldenkamp performs the small (小 Sho) version of this ‘Kama Kata of Master Kanigawa’.
