Bo-Jutsu (or 棒術 in Japanese) includes the fighting techniques ( 術 Jutsu ) of staff fencing ( 棒 Bō ) according to Ryukyu Kobujutsu. Next, Kihon (or 基本 in Japanese) means basics or fundamentals. In the video embedded below (recorded on 24 April 2023), budoka Johan Oldenkamp performs these basic fighting techniques for the Bo, both front left ( 左 hidari ) and front right ( 右 migi ).
