Sesoko no Kon

瀬底の棍

Sesoko no Kon (or 瀬底の棍 in Japanese) is a Ryukyu Kobujutsu Bo Kata, and actually one of the longest. Sesoko is an island located just off the west coast of Okinawa’s main island. In the video embedded below (recorded on 9 May 2025), budoka Johan Oldenkamp performs this Bo Kata from Sesoko.
